Breadless Bodies Day 32

458 Snatch and a 544 Clean & Jerk.. Ya, I guess deserved the Gold Medal…

“‘Olympic Total”

1 Rep Max:

Snatch

Clean & Jerk

Approximately 20 minutes for each lift.  Warm up as needed and take 3 efforts at each lift for a max weight. Snatch before C&J.

Post Weights to Comments!!

Coach’s Notes: For your 3 lifts after warm ups, I recommend approaching it as follows, but it is up to how you are feeling today and how the weights feel as you move forward. Attempt #1 should be about 85% of your known 1RM, something you absolutely know you can stick, but still heavy. Attempt #2 should about 95%-100% of you 1RM, something you have done before, but damn heavy. Attempt #3, go for gold, see what you have. Since today is not a true competition with real rules, I am OK if you take a 4th attempt if the third felt easy compared to the last time you have done these, but no more than that. Take the PR and move forward, don’t get crazy greedy.

If you need to do your benchmarks this weekend or early next week due to scheduling issues, please talk to your coaches so we can work with you to accommodate getting all of your data in for the BBNC before it is over!!!
