5 Sets of Max Reps
Rest as needed in between sets.
“Karen”
For time:
150 Wall Balls (20/14)
Post Reps & Times to Comments!!
Coach’s Notes: For the pull up portion today, choose one “type” for all 5 sets and be consistent throughout. You may choose: strict pull ups, kipping or butterfly pull ups, weighted pull ups, banded pull-ups, or ring rows as necessary. Just be sure that you do the same for all 5 sets and add up your total reps. Each set should be a max effort.
For “Karen”, the key is to divide and conquer. Knock out a big set to start and then keep chipping away, with limited rest breaks. Try to keep your sets smooth and focus on each throw and catch. Pick a number each time you pick up the medicine ball and stick with it. If you can do 5 sets of 30, by all means, go for it. If 15 sets of 10 is going to be more realistic, stick to that plan. This WOD is mostly about surpassing that mental hurdle. 150 may be a lot, but every rep done is one less you have to do again.
